BACP Accredited Counsellor / Psychotherapist UKCP Registered Psychotherapist
About me
I have been practising for over 20 years and have worked with a wide range of clients in the voluntary sector and private practice.
I offer individual and group supervision to counsellors and support workers from other helping professions.
As a person-centred therapist, my focus is on providing a collaborative and confidential therapeutic relationship where you will be respected, valued and accepted without judgement, helping you to feel comfortable to talk about whatever is bringing you to therapy.
Trauma-informed, I have extensive experience of working with clients who have experienced abuse, drug and alcohol, self-harm and self-worth issues. I also work with clients who have more general issues; struggling with relationships, loss and bereavement, feeling lost, stuck, overwhelmed or are just looking for a space to reflect, explore and enhance the meaning and quality of their lives.
I work with adults and do not see couples.
Normally sessions are offered on a weekly basis and last for an hour.
If you would like to meet with me to discuss your needs, I offer an initial session lasting up to 40 minutes, free of charge.
Please note - I am not currently seeing clients face-to-face and all sessions are being offered via Zoom.
