Luke HocKLEY

counsellor and psychotherapist

About me

People come to see me for a variety of reasons. Sometimes there is a pressing matter they want to explore. At other times they have a sense of uncertainty or unease about a particular situation or set of circumstances. In all cases, I offer a safe and confidential environment in which to explore personal concerns and issues.

As an integrative psychotherapist, I work with a range of approaches, including Jungian. These include talking about current difficulties, exploring their origin and the use of dreams, guided imagery and focusing. Many people also find mindfulness and other creative meditative approaches very helpful. I also use CBT when it will be effective.

I’ve worked with a range of issues including : anger, depression, anxiety, self-harm, OCD, relationship problems, and losing purpose and joy in life.

I’ve helped a wide variety of people regain their confidence and self-esteem. I will offer support as you look to change your life for the better. My aim is to help you live in a fulfilling and meaningful way, where you achieve your goals with a sense of purpose and direction.

I only work with individual adults, not couples or children.

I look forward to meeting you.
