My early experience was diverse, living inner city life in my youth and then working for an international charity and later in the fields of education and care.
I have been a Counsellor for many years (since 1988), now with experience in working with anxiety & stress, bereavement & loss, child & domestic abuse, depression, drug & alcohol addiction, identity & relationship issues, and trauma.
My approach is Person-centred, since I believe the key element in good therapy is the growing understanding between client and counsellor, creating a warmly accepting space where all aspects of difficulty may be explored.
The wide spectrum of our natural world and the beauty of its expression captures my interest – from wildlife gardening and landscape photography to life stories and animal welfare.
