Since becoming a fully qualified Person-Centred Counsellor & Psychotherapist in 2005 I have built up nearly 6000 hours of experience working in NHS GP-referral work, Employee Assistance Programmes and in private practice.

My experience covers adults of varying backgrounds, ages and issues; I have particular interests in Bereavement, Relationship Issues, Depression, Stress and Workplace Issues, including bullying and harassment. I hold the NHS-approved Counselling for Depression (CfD) qualification.

My approach enables me to work with a whole range of people, and my personality is often described as being patient, empathic, understanding and laidback. I am also comfortable using a methodical “solution-focused” approach which can also generate helpful ideas and strategies.
