I started counselling young people at the Youth Information Service and then started counselling in a secondary school in Milton Keynes and in Wales. I have worked in a voluntary agency and am now in private practice.

I work face to face, via telephone or audio or video WhatsApp or Facetime.

I work with clients both short term and long term.

I work with people on the autistic spectrum, with those presenting with relationship issues, communication difficulties, grief and loss, abuse-physical/sexual/emotional. Anxiety, depression, self esteem/confidence, work place stress and change, life stage transitions, eating disorders, debriefing after a traumatic event, self harm, cultural and spiritual.

My approach is Person Centred. My intention is to come alongside the other person(s) in and on their current journey through life and to enable them to find the next step(s) in resolving their concerns. It may be that just a listening space is required, for others it might be a chance to take a risk to be different.  In all I am there to accept them as they are and to offer myself as I am.
