I believe our mental health should be as important as our physical health. I offer a safe, accepting place to allow you to explore issues that may be impacting on your mental health.

With 16 years’ experience working in a secondary school, I’ve developed several different techniques that I tailor to the individual. I use a person-centred approach, as well as CBT techniques and psycho-education.

I’ve worked with a range of issues such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Low Mood
  • Self-Harm
  • Young people with an ASD diagnosis
  • Low self esteem
  • School refusal

As a registered counsellor with the British Association of Counsellor’s and Psychotherapists I am governed by their ethics and professional framework.

I’m committed to continuing professional development, meaning I regularly attend training and read about a variety of mental health subjects, ensuring my knowledge is always kept up to date.
